hi-low（hilow）發音很像英文法文的hello。所以hilow是你好。hilow概念創始於臺北。其本意是“和陌生的你說你好。”low的英文意思是低，低落。所以hilow也可以理解為你好，壞心情。為什麼要跟壞心情說你好呢。因為hilow的生活理念就是不逃避壞心情。同樣hi也可以看做是high的縮寫。而一下high一下low。正好反映了當下青年的生活狀態。hilow所宣導的清新、自然、簡約、質樸的生活方式也大受現代快節奏社會下年輕人的推崇。hilow是一種生活態度。hilow也是傳統產業和新媒體產業完美鏈結的跨行業新事務。

hi-low sounds like hello in English or French. That’s why hilow means hello. This concept started from Taiwan, which means say hello to strangers. Low means depressed, then hilow could be hello, bad mood. But why we say hello to bad mood? Life philosophy of hilow is no other than don’t try to escape from your bad mood. Once again, hilow could be an abbreviation for high. Sometimes high while sometimes low, that’s exactly the life style of young people nowadays. Hilow電子雜誌(免費)創立於2008年的4月，<HI-LOW>青年雜誌由臺北XXXL特大號混合創意事務所與C4WORK出品，是以視覺為主，文字為輔助，以生活態度，回憶青春為主的一本青年雜誌。雜誌集合全球範圍內優秀的攝影師，插畫師，設計師，音樂人，旅行者，共同創作，向讀者推崇年輕豐富自然健康的生活態度。我們關注內心細膩的情感，記錄旅途中心靈的傾訴，展現清新的圖片和文字，讓讀者看見從浮躁世界裏破殼而出的乾淨夢想。目前已經出版了14期，擁有來自30多個國家和地區的幾十萬讀者。

hilow has an exclusive product line which includes magazine, community, art gallery and product.

Hilow online magazine started to publish in April 2008, which was produced by XXXL Remixed Creative Factory and C4WORK. It is a magazine for young people to discuss life style and memorize youth. This magazine is mainly composed by picture only with a few literary descriptions. It involves many excellent photographers, illustrators, designers, musicians, and travelers, aiming at promote a young, colorful, natural and healthy life attitude. We pay attention to delicate sensibility from heart. We record words of your soul in the journey. We exhibit fresh pictures and words. We excavate a clean dream from vanity world for our readers. 我們準備通過建立<HI-LOW ART GALLERY>線上畫廊與在一些地方開設專櫃的形式，展示並嘗試銷售藝術家們的作品，線上畫廊計畫上線時間為2009年9月，實體專櫃也計畫在09年10月安置在北京的藝術區，書店，藝術品商店，高級餐廳等地。在這過程中我們正在不斷的收集全球各地優秀的作品，目的在於讓它更豐富。
